          Parque Nacional de São Joaquim (SC). Local do primeiro acampamento, em um pequeno platô ao lado do Rio Pelotas. Temperatura estimada de -5ºC na madrugada. Clique no tamanho maior para melhor visualização.

          Travessia de 3 dias (do distrito de Vacas Gordas ao Morro da Igreja, segundo ponto mais alto do Sul do país). Fomos guiados por Juan Rivas Beasley, fotógrafo e montanhista.

          São Joaquim National Park, Urubici, Brasil. This was our first camping site, on a small plateau neighboring the Pelotas River. The temperature that night could have reached minus 5ºC (23 ºF).

          3-day trek through this national preservation area, beginning in Vacas Gordas ("Fat Cows") district, finishing in Morro da Igreja (Church Mountain). We were guided by Juan Rivas Beasley, photographer and mountaineer.
